'Satan's Rauch' for ORF Public television

Just finished filming in February and already broadcast a documentary about Pope Francis and his opponents in the Catholic Church, many of them in the conservative United States.
For our friend director Christian Rathner of ORF we filmed a second time for ORF's 'Religion Editorial Office'. Previously about Dietrich Bonhoeffer & Gandhi but today a piece about Francis and the opinions he triggers.

The 5K Road Races

Our world circuit at film festivals should continue once Covid restrictions are past. Next stop Toronto and Santa Monica in the fall. Titled the Freeway-Pryor Cashman 5K Run produced by PPP these races bring film executives and local runners together to raise funds for a good cause, see Santa Monica's charity here.

In time this event will get on the calendar in more film festival towns around the world and with luck bring some famous runners too.

Saint Gobain's World Tour stop in Philadelphia

When French glass-maker Saint-Gobain's 350th Anniversary World Tour stopped in Philadelphia, PPP was chosen to manage the entire production. Architectural planning, permitting, setup, crew, infrasturcture support and a few odds and ends like a 120kw dual generator or a last minute visitor ramp where on the task list. Here a client's clip of the show's Shanghai setup.
French conceived & Czech built our Parisian friends of FC2 created and managed worldwide. Not a small task but well received as the stream of 100k plus visitors in 6 days and a very happy Saint-Gobain USA team confirmed.

WhiteWall-Lumas at Javits Center

...for the PDN photo show at New York's Javits Convention Center came WhiteWall a printing, framing and artwork firm from Berlin, born out of better known art company Lumas. With only two weeks planning time we pulled off the cross-Atlantic implementation of the idea. Large visuals worked well, like magnets giving proof to the popularity of the booth and confirming the important presence at this show.

A Little Sparrow's Big City World

Tiny sparrows in Manhattan? YES... in traffic light poles above road intersections, 20ft/6m above the earth. Take Empire State and 5th Avenue! For our friend director Kurt Mayer we produced here in NY. Shot worldwide in Beijing, Vienna, Paris, Moscow, Cairo and NY the entertaining film tells the story about the little guy's life & survival in the big city. A popular Festival contestant, here's a link to the full version of the film. Enjoy!

2x 16:9, an unusual format

For Germany’s banknote & creditcard maker Giesecke & Devrient and agency Cadrage, we produced NY scenes for G&D's new image film.  Because of the 2x 16:9 HD environment, all actors appear fairly small in an ultrawide frame now fuse that with New York City's landscape, that's a challenge.
Seven locations in 1 1/2 days with company moves all across town, made for a busy schedule...but we made it happen. See the original clip here...

RIP...Peter Patzak !!

Found in the video vault was the production of Ziegler Film's 'Deadly Inheritance' aka 'Moederisches Erbe' with Christoph Waltz in the lead and directed by Vienna's Peter Patzak, who just sadly passed away.
We produced in New York many moons a clip:
On Waltz's Oscar win said Patzak who worked with Christoph many times before: 'If anyone deserves the Oscar its Christoph... he works tirelessly to get his character just right!" Peter we will always remember you and kudos to Chris for working on his next Oscar.

Livestream for 'Engage' New York

Livestreaming aka webcasting is a great way to engage with an audience yet being physically apart. We've been working in this field for over 20 years, and because of smart devices 'viewer interaction' is now more easier than ever.
For Socialbakers, a social media metrics company, we streamed their day-long seminar from the Bohemian National Hall, and reached a truly global audience from India, Europe, South, Latin & North America, see a short clip of the show above.

"Kinderblock 66"...a story about survival

Our film Kinderblock 66 is making great progress, with several recent film festival showings. Earlier in April during Liberation days the documentary was shown to a select audience of survivors in Buchenwald, Germany below to play clip of German TV:
...and then invited to the Jerusalem Film Festival with all the producers and survivors attending. In the US, Kinderblock 66 has been shown on smaller festivals and just won 'Best Documentary' in Key West and in Philadelphia for Best Director 'Documentary'. A distribution agreement is secured, bringing the film officially to America. For current updates go to Kinderblock 66

Thank you for your interest!

SIEMENS Exider, A road show on rails

...the first exhibition to ever travel the a singular TRAIN.
A show for clients of Siemens E&A it came from Europe & China before North America via air, yes it was flown to Milwaukee then showed in Chicago first. 14 containers on flat-bed rail cars formed the self-powered trade show, with displays & product simulations, a 3D-movie theater and cafe lounge.
Stops in 16 cities around North America beginning in the Midwest to the East Coast and Mexico then Western US and Canada. We moved the train, built roads along the track, staged opening events with tents, snacks and greeters and managed this entire endeavor. Our German colleagues of OSK kept the train humming and 'in shape'. For sure not your everyday project!

Shooting the VOID for Mercedes & Opel

Scouting panorama, Ellis Island
NYC skyline from Ellis Island

...means producing images 'without a product on location'.
We did this for Opel Europe & Mercedes Benz. Like in Hollywood's special effects  the final image is  'rendered' in a computer, here shooter & client
Computer generated interior
Tom Grammerstorf.
It all makes you believe the car is on location.

Similarly we took to the streets of Manhattan, to film the VOID behind a camera truck for a Mercedes-Benz E 550 launch clip. The actual car was shot in a studio in Europe with the footage 'composited' in a computer. What's most tricky is protecting an'empty space behind the camera car from aggressive cabbies who want to take over the space. See above doesn't it look like the car is traveling through New York ?
